Product Description
The XH-31HF type 90 ℃ halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant cable sheath material produced by our company is based on EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer elastomer) as the basic material, supplemented with flame retardants, smoke suppressants, anti-aging agents, vulcanizing agents, etc., fully mixed by an internal mixer. It is designed specifically for the production of halogen-free low smoke flame-retardant wire and cable, equivalent to the SHF2 type sheath in IEC60092-359 standard. This type of product is widely used in wire and cable enterprises in European countries such as the UK, France, and Germany. It has the characteristics of halogen-free, low smoke, flame retardant, oil resistance, heat resistance, low temperature resistance, low toxicity, environmental protection, easy processing, and easy storage.
Product Usage
This product can be used as an insulation for low-voltage cables with halogen-free, low smoke, and flame-retardant requirements, as well as an outer sheath for motor leads, locomotive and vehicle cables, subway cables, nuclear power plant cables, or similar applications. The cable can be used for a long time at temperatures ranging from -40 to 90 ℃. This material has high flexibility, is easier to bend and move, and is convenient for cable installation and laying. The color is black, and other light colored products can also be provided according to user requirements.

Processing process parameters
It can be extruded and produced on a regular rubber extruder, and it is recommended to use a CV (continuous vulcanization) production line.
Extruder compression ratio: 1.1:1 to 1.5:1;
Extruder length to diameter ratio: 6:1 to 16:1; (For aspect ratios less than 10:1, it is recommended to use hot feeding);
Temperature setting: 70-90 ℃
Sulfurization temperature: It is recommended to maintain a temperature of 180-200 ℃ inside the vulcanization tube
Packaging and Storage
The product is packaged in cardboard boxes and lined with polyethylene bags. The film shape is continuous film or provided according to user requirements, with a net weight of 25Kg per box and 20 bags as one supply unit. The safe use period at room temperature is one year. The product should be stored in a clean, dry, cool, and ventilated warehouse.
